Parrot Playbox privacy notice

Scope and operator

This notice applies to Parrot Playbox 5.0.1 and its support website, game.forbirds.cn, operated by KEYA LI as an individual. Forbirds is the brand name used here.

Information on your device

No app account is required. Preferences, favorites, activity history and play journals support settings, recent activities and personal notes. Recordings, voice cues, compositions, selected audio, names and images support local playback and activities. The current version stores this content on the device and has no implementation that uploads it to the operator’s servers.

Recordings and audio are processed locally for playback; selected images are resized for use in activities. Automatic voice cues are bundled synthetic recordings, not generated by uploading your voice. Art Master and Color Island do not save artwork or coloring progress.

Microphone and selected files

Microphone permission is requested when you choose to record. You can decline or revoke access in system settings; activities without recording remain available. You actively select images and audio to import. The app does not independently scan your entire photo library. This release has no camera-based motion games and does not request camera access for such games.

Apple purchases and third-party services

The six paid theme packs are one-time, non-consumable in-app purchases through Apple StoreKit. Restore Purchases restores eligible access. Apple handles purchases and transaction verification; we do not receive your card number or Apple Account password through the app. Apple’s privacy policy governs its own services.

The app has no advertising or third-party behavioral analytics SDK integration and does not upload your recordings, images, play journals or favorites through advertising or analytics services.

Connections and external links

The app’s own remote-update checking is disabled. Purchases, restoration and opening website, help or source links connect to the relevant services.

Those websites and Apple services process the connection information needed to provide their services. Before enabling new network features or changing data uses, we will update this notice and provide any necessary information.

Deletion, retention and backups

You manage local content through the relevant feature: delete recordings or saved works, remove custom image entries or favorites, or disable and clear the journal. Resetting preferences does not erase all personal content. If you cannot find a deletion control, contact support with the feature name; you do not need to send the private content.

Uninstalling or clearing app data may remove local information. iCloud or computer backups and exported copies depend on system settings and your own management; the app provides no cloud-sync service of its own. Deleting a local item does not mean backups or exported copies are also deleted.

Information you send to support

When you email forbirds@163.com, the NetEase 163 email service receives your sender address, message, time and any attachments you choose to include. KEYA LI manages this mailbox and uses the relevant information to receive and handle requests and provide necessary replies.

Support emails are retained for 12 months after an issue is resolved, then deleted or anonymized. Unresolved matters, disputes or legal obligations may require retention only to the extent and for the period necessary. The operator manages this cleanup; no additional user account is required.

To request access, correction or deletion of information you sent to support, email the same address. Do not send passwords, complete payment details, home addresses or unrelated private recordings. Redact personal information from screenshots first.

Website forms and cookies

This support website provides help and privacy information only. It does not enable game-suggestion or event-registration forms, set anti-abuse cookies, collect suggestions or send notification emails through these pages. Any later introduction of these features will include information about their data uses and retention first.

Support website hosting

game.forbirds.cn is hosted on an Alibaba Cloud server in Hangzhou, mainland China. Delivering a webpage requires network services to process IP addresses, requested paths and request information sent by your browser. This static site uses no advertising, third-party analytics scripts or external fonts.

The site’s Nginx configuration disables persistent site access and error logs and does not build visitor profiles. This does not mean that network operators, Alibaba Cloud infrastructure or Apple do not process connection, security or operational information required for their own services. Those services handle data under their respective rules.

Changes and contact

When data uses, services or network behavior change, we will update this page and its date and provide any notice appropriate to the change. For privacy questions or requests about information you deliberately sent to support, email forbirds@163.com.
